| The Groovies' third British Invasion-revival style album was actually
even better than the second, but Sire by this time was hedging its bets,
replacing a cover of the Rolling Stones' "19th Nervous Breakdown"
with Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" on the U.S. version.
It didn't gain the band any added sales, and alienated hardcore fans,
who had to buy the import to get the Stones cover. The record company
was losing interest and the band was going through major personnel changes
as well, and it would be a while before the Groovies turned up on another
full-length album again. (by Bruce Eder , All
