Besprechungen
The title track of the mesmerizing Goodbye and Hello album, this, one of the longest Tim Buckley songs, has a dated quality, yet remains one of the meisterworks of the psychedelic era. A seven-plus-minute suite, the song blends folk and classical music into one cohesive whole. A brilliant Jerry Yester arrangement is as much a part of the song as the production. The passage of time, psychedelic insight, as well as an Elizabethan feel is all part of this creation. A breaking away from old monetary values and again, the passage of time is what Buckley is talking about, and this is perfect for the milieu the song was recorded.
